Diane Uyeno is a talented, self trained artist.   Born in Hilo, Hawaii, Diane always finds a way to tie in a few "local designs" each season in her polymer clay art.  She has been working with polymer clay for over 30 years.  She is known for her cute, fun, immaculate and original designs, as well as her ability to make custom designs.  Her work can usually be seen at the larger craft fairs around the island of Oahu.  Now, with the launch of DiDunIt.com, old and new customers/fans will be able to see what is new!

When asked what keeps her making these wonderful art pieces, she says, "I love that my pieces make people smile.  I also love to listen to whispers of people guessing if it is handmade.  My good friend/craft fair saleswomen, Colleen, often over hears people huddled together whispering questions to each other in disbelief.   Many times, they are not sure if the items are handmade because they are so 'perfect'.  I don't think my items are perfect, but I do take great pride in my work.  If I didn't love doing this, I don't think I would be able to continue doing this for 30 years."
